Fire Escapes & Fabrications has been at the forefront of steel staircase design and manufacture for over twenty years. Operating from recently-extended premises close to the West Yorkshire motorway network, FEF is well situated for easy access to the M1, and via the M62 to the M6. This enables us to quickly access all parts of the UK, either to undertake site surveys or to carry out installations.
The company is headed by Peter Haynes and Ray Thrush, who have a combined experience of 50 years in steel staircase design and manufacture. Their skills are complemented by those of the design team and skilled labour force, some of whom have worked for FEF since the company’ s formation.
FEF’s portfolio has grown over the years from simple single storey straight stairs to multi-floor stairs and spiral stairs. In addition, FEF is one of the few companies in the UK which supplies helical stairs.
